Overview
ComForCare is looking for experienced part time Medical Transportation Driver to provide transportation for patients/clients to and from hospitals, convalescent facilities, dialysis centers, rehabilitation centers, medical offices and their private residences in a safe, secure and professional manner in the Greater Charlotte area.
Job Duties
- Transporting patients and clients utilizing own vehicle in a safe and professional manner.
- Effectively communicate with the team regarding schedule progress and to receive instructions.
- Willing to maintain a professional image and attitude in regards to clients, visitors, and co‐workers.
- Must maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Assist clients and patients as needed to safely complete the transfer.
- Must be able to accurately complete activity logs vehicle reports such as timesheets.
- Must be able to understand and operate GPS devices, and cell phones.
- Must be able to perform all duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Should be a safe driver
- Some experience working with patients is a plus.
Other requirements
- Should know different areas Ballyntine and Uptown Charlotte area
- Must own a car with a valid car insurance
- Casual professional attire
- Must be available during the week from 7am to 4 pm (no weekends)
Compensation
- Part time with no benefits
- $50/per round trip (there and back)
- $14/per hour additional IF appointments exceeds past 3 hours
- .50/per mile reimbursement
